Tube Bender
MilAIR's award-winning tube bender project has improved the quality and reliability of our environmental control units (ECUs). The number one reliability issue with a refrigeration system is gas leaks. By using our new tube bender, we have eliminated several brazed joints in our refrigeration tubing circuit and thereby improved our manufacturing process.
This bender can handle various sizes of tubing, parametric models from computer-aided design (CAD) software are downloaded straight from the engineers computer to the machine via Ethernet connections.
